My name is Arthur Allison.  I started working with wood back when I was 15.  I started with a few basic tools and through the next 30 years I have taught myself the craft of woodworking.  I take pride in what I build.  Pride in building what my customers want. 

In this world of mass marketing and production of wooden things I like to step back to a time when the craftsman was proud to put their name on what they completed.  When joints fit tight and you did not find plastic in your cabinetry.  A time when there was no such thing as “particle board” and finishes were hand applied.

 But this does not mean we do not embrace modern technology.  The modern glues we use are superior now.  Some of the modern construction techniques are better than before.  Your project will be designed using state of the art CAD software to ensure everything is right before we even turn on a saw.  You will get plans and drawings to review.  Once approved, our shop even uses computerized CNC equipment to cut out some of the parts to exact dimensions.
